Procurement Manager

Permanent - Hybrid


Full commercial management of a range of Food and Non-Food categories and their suppliers. 


Procurement role covering Food and Non-Food categories and their suppliers to ensure we are meeting the needs of existing and new clients.  In addition, this will be the go-to person for resolving all escalated and serious supplier issues.

Potential for a person with procurement experience and knowledge of the Food service sector and its suppliers, preferably MCIPS qualified, to be able to:

  • Forge positive and collaborative relationships with the suppliers and clients we work with.

  • Provide a good understanding of markets and supply chains within the foodservice sector.

  • Identify and recommend good procurement practices/policies.

  • To identify, negotiate and implement Terms, including pricing with all current and future suppliers.

  • Set and manage price reviews at agreed junctures with suppliers.

  • Manage and deliver RFP activities on behalf of Delta and its clients to meet business needs.

  • For our Delta Intel clients, be able to evaluate their purchasing position versus the Delta market and produce a report to detail and support your findings.

  • Ensure we are meeting the Environmental/Sustainable needs of our clients through our supply network.

  • Good knowledge & experience of procurement within the food service sector.

  • Currently in a food procurement role and looking for the next challenge.

  • Self-motivated - requiring a low level of supervision.

  • Able to communicate clearly & concisely, both internally as well as externally with suppliers and clients.
